from what date and time can one apply for prog...in oasis it is said...
"On September 2 you may transmit your application to your selected programs
On September 3 we will start transmitting documents that have been scanned already and that you have assigned
On September 4 you can see the progress of your application via ADTS at www.aamc.org/eras "

but in http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/timeline/start.htm "September 1, 2007 Applicants may begin applying to ACGME accredited programs.
ACGME accredited programs may begin contacting the ERAS PostOffice to download application files. "

people say it is long week end...so not until sept 4...

which is truth,

hey dianna...can i ask another Question with your post?

After we pay for the applications via credit card does it get processed immediately? Because there is a NOTICE at the top declaring Give 3 to 5 days after payment for program applications to be processed????

You can certify ur application from tomorrow. But the programs will start downloading from tuesday.

SEP 1
The ERAS PostOffice opens. You can start using the MyERAS website to transmit your Common Application Form (CAF), Profile, and Personal Statement(s) to the ERAS PostOffice.

SEP 2
ECFMG starts to transmit supporting documents that have been received and scanned. ECFMG will continue to scan and transmit documents every business day through May 31, 2008, and will continue to update/transmit ECFMG status reports and USMLE transcripts every business day through May 30, 2008.

So the first business day will be 4th of Sept.....so whether u apply on 1st/2nd/3rd it wont matter!!!!
