Does anyone the difference between diffusion-limited and perfusion-limited?

If you increase blood flow it can convert perfusion lmited to diffusion-limited I do not get it

well I am not good explain it, but If this can help you will be good!
remeber:
that if The gas from one compartment (alveolargas) and the other compartment(cappillary) NOT REACH EQUILIBRIUM so, its diffusion limited,!!!

If you think it, the diffusion is limiting the equilibrium??
