is this branchial or cystic hygroma - ros2

full term neonate with 4 x 4 mass posterior to the right sternocleidomastoid muscle. The mass is unilocular and filled with watery fluid.

Branchial...thyroglossal is always midline, and branchial is lateral Smile

Could be cystic hygroma, which is classically present in the posterior triangle of neck

cystic hygroma - posterior to Sternocleidomastoid mostly
branchial cyst - anterior border of Sternocleidomastoid.
