congrats for such a great score...I have failed in step1 for the second time...i had read everything, i don't know where i went wrong...could you please tell me what to read?

My experience
Duration of preparation 6-8 months full time Books Kaplan lecture notes+Qbank DID NOT DO GOLJAN HAD NO TIME. First Aid twice in last 3 weeks did USMLE world 62% timed and untimed NBME-2 560 NBME-4 560 NBME-5 540 NBME-6 520 Real exam was more like NBME 5 and 6

For pharma I did Kaplan lecture notes+videos+UW, it all depends on your clinical experience as well.
Biostats was my worst, you wouldn't believe I did not understand anything and made educated guess and there were quiet a few question in each block. I could have done better had I studied biostats. Behavioural was mostly best next step, what would you say, defence mechanisms, PD it wasn't too bad. Suggestion: If you think you can grasp biostats than its gona improve your score but if you are like me than I wouldn't waste my time on it and do someting I can. |
