SLE produce various changes in the glomeruli. important ones are: membrenous ( wire loop) and crescentic type.
It it is membrenous- the patient present with Nephrotic syndrome(4+ protenuria), if it is a crescentic chnage- it presents as RPGN where u get rapid increase in BUN and creatinine. |
