Beta HCG...if a female and not post menopausal

ANA
RF
Xray wrists ...to cover all bases

~ send pt home... with a splint and Nsaids...F/U visit when all results are back ...maybe day # 3.....

~ results ...all within normal limits....

~Pt arrives for F/U...

Do interval hx
Do a focused PE
Reassure pt
Nerve conduction studies to confirm the diagnosis of CTS....
