is it dangerous to live as a foreigner in the US? I mean attacks against foreigners etc?

essentially all us americans are wonderful individuals. in addition, most americans are optimistic and very helpful which is somewhat different to my home country.

particular places in most metropolitan areas are dangerous though - for everyone. baltimore and washington dc are typically among the top 3 most dangerous places.
