The main questions different in children depend on their age. But some to ask are a recent febrile illness, birth trauma (intraventricular hemorrhage), and problems with growth and development. Ask if they are potty trained before asking about incontinence during the seizure. If you evaluating absence seizures, these are generally seen only in children. Most other questions can be the same...how long did it last? Was the whole body shaking or just one part? Was there cyanosis? Blood in mouth? Was the child awake during the seizure? Was there a period of drowsiness or confusion afterwards? Good luck from cmcases of competentmed.com

Dont forget family history of seizures as well as the age of onset for those seizures and if they still occur. If its the parent who isnt present in the scenario who had the positive family history , then mention that you would like to speak to them at some point in the future.
