There are many places where you can live. There are some very nice apartments near to south shore area within 5-6 miles from JPH. You can consider "Prairie Shore Apartments" S King Drive Chicago, IL 60616. Its nice and affordable. I bedroom will start around 700-800$. Here is the link. Just call them. better negotiate with them properly. they will give you 2 months free if you can sign the lease or you can share with someone in prairieshores.

please do share your experience..how was the externship program? did you get a certiificate and LOR? is the place really that unsafe as people are saying?
