If you see a patient in the office and you order labs, in the real world, you would see the patient on another day when the lab results are ready. Do you send the pt home or just hit the "next available result" button?
Certain things are recommended to virtually ALL patients--counsel to stop smoking, limit ETOH, seat belts, etc. WHEN is a good time to do this? At the end?
