i got intvw from galveston..... texas univ for IMon friday
99/99/recent grad/ecfmg+

they say they may provide H1b...But..one of my fren is there in j1 becoz he had some known doc there....
he told me- initially they say they may provide h1 ..but after u spend 200-300$travel cost for interview....they say they provide no H1B....THAT'S what happened last yr and will happen this yr also....

so i m in dilemma......noone is there in H1 he says...

in a reply to me on e-mail.......they clearly told me they wont sponsor visas.....but j1 for excellent candidates.......no H1

so just be careful......dont spend $$$ if no return.....

Can you let me know whn you sent your application to utmb. I have friends in baylor, I can ask them if galveston offers h1.
