It might be true, but it's kinda biased... My Country is no 2 (looooooool) and I guess we were placed there because we have socialized medicine... I mean we are good, but we are not better than US at all in the standards of care...
We just, somehow, deliver almost free healthcare to everyone... But paying the "price" of huge waiting lists in the public hospitals...

If there is some change, at this crisis period and healthcare crisis.................US might be way down in 2010!
