why tolerance does not develope for miosis ans constipation in opiate toxicity ??

not sure, but I know that tolerance develops due to excessive hyperphosphorylation of miu receptors, and nmda blockers like ketamine or dextromethorphane help to reduce tolerance. No clue about these resistant sites though. Maybe no NMDA receptors in these locations?
