Just did a question that asked where the likely location of pathology is w/ a young girl that has urinalysis showing RBC, red blood casts and protein. The rbc casts made me choose glomerulus bc of glomerulonephritis, but why would there be rbcs? I was taught that rbcs are seen in bladder pathology? Would they likely be deformed rbcs?
