correct answer is D:

@timmalik Sure can friend Smile

a)POI gene: provides reverse transcriptase [creates dsDNA from RNA hiv], integrase [integrates viral dna into host], protease [cleaves viral protein]

b)Gag gene: provides p24 [capsid protein], p7p9 [core nueclocapsid protein], p17 [matrix protein] ...

c)ENV gene: provides gp120 [surface protein that binds to ccr5 & cd4 on macropages ..... and also binds to cxcr4 and cd4 on t-cells] ....provides gp41 : thats the transmembrane protein for viral fusions to host cell Smile

d)NEF gene: provides down regulation of mhc1 expression & cd4 - without this gene you can not progess to AIDS

e)Tat gene: provides inhibits cytokine in cells & destroys Th1 cells & upregulation of transcription [HIV]
