My B1/B2 visa is stuck in administrative processing for over 6 months. I gave my visa interview in New Delhi in Jan for electives. I had to cancel my elective because of the delay. I lost all my tuition for that elective. I applied again for electives and fortunately I managed to get one which is scheduled in Jan, 2013. I have a very common muslim name. I AM FREAKING OUT !! I cant even focus on my Step 1 prep. Has anyone gone through this process and got the visa. What are they doing with my case and how long should I wait before I withdraw my application and ditch USMLE.
