Mexican doctor wants practice in Puerto Rico - lulu15

Hi, everyone, I am from Mexico, I just graduate from Universidad Xochicalco, and I am looking for the requirements for medical license in Puerto Rico. I have completed and pass the Usmle step 1 and step 2 CK, and looking for take the CS soon. I don't have a bachelor degree or the pre med classes.
Do i have to take the basic science classes ?

Hi lulu !!!
You have to finish usmle steps and apply to residency program through NMRP if puerto Rico programs participate in the Match or if out of the match if program does not participates in the March, as the rest of us, you must get ecfmg certificate and go the painful process. I don't think Puerto Rico is any diffrent to any other state in America. I am from UACH ( chihuahua ) med school.

some hospitals in Puerto Rico have different system and requirements. ecfmg certificate then you ready to go.
many of them do not participate in Match. you need to send emails and calls.
i do not have any more information but I am sure of what have just said
