A 66 y/o from Africa presents to you with darkcolored lesions on his L heel. The center of the primary

Q1) DX

Q2) Is radiation therapy effective here? ( YES, NO) tell me why?

I don't know but I wanna participate.

Melanoma ...but I don't know the radiation part .

Black lesions that I hv come across in micro so far
Anthrax - centrally necrotic black Eschar with erythematous border
Pseudomonas- ecthyma gangrenosum ( centrally necrotic black lesion with erythematous border )
Opportunistic fungus rhizopus- but that will be on face


What else ?

From Africa ? It could be a hint to something Sad

Africans can have burkitts lymphoma ( non-hodgkins lymphoma )

@reminemi very good as long as u could just see img and tell me Melanoma that's all it counts bz in real practice that's also all u will have. esp in dark color pat. Good J btw all view u got it.
