acordding to the nrmp report for this match there a lot of positions not yet filled, for example surgery has more than 350 nation wide. Maybe someone can still get this after the match is over

No way. Surgery's stats are like that annually. I once read that they intentionally keep large numbers of unfilled positions. I don't know the motive behind it.

there are like 5 unfilled spots in surgery. That stat is from before SOAP.
