ENT question - jen11
#1
Hi all. can anyone help me with this diagnosis? sorry, i dont have the answer choices anymore. thanks for any suggestions.

A 36 year old male complains of “decreased” hearing in his left ear and “increased” hearing in his right ear that started 5 days ago. He feels that he is “going deaf” in his left ear. He has difficulty in hearing voices and the radio. However, traffic, air condition and background noises are amplified and too loud. He has tried over the counter ear wax removal on both ears, followed by water and hydrogen peroxide. However, no relief was provided. He has no complaints of any pain, dizziness, fever or itching. What is the most likely diagnosis?
