Recently I got my step 1 score -192
But i want to continue my journey...
graduated in 2016, IMG,
& Green card holder.
I felt, People here,are more experienced to guide me about what should I do to build up my next journey & to stay positive..
High CK score will help..?
Or
Should i go to any alternatives other then USMLE !!!? if it is, then Which are the options ?!!!!

Go to each program and find heir requirements.
Most don’t have 190s.
Unless you have stellar usce and visa and ck

you will be having chances dont give up, as you have no visa required. But need to gain high score in the next steps 240+. Along with gaining continuous hands-on clinical experience with strong LORs and get a strong CV which is required for the application.

190s don’t make it to the filters

They got really strict and they use eras filters with the search.
For scores yog visa.
Scores for step 1 yea 190s is unheard of unless your us grad

It’s unfortunate because scores do t make you a great physician. Most usgrads don’t have 250 240
Being an img is so much difficult. Esp coming from a no name school. So they use these criteria to judge you

Not to sound mean but this is what is going on. Even visa requirement is a must
But just be realistic and be ready for some difficult times
