is there a age limit for a residency program? is there any criteria?

No they are not allowed to discriminate based on age however there are other disqualifying factors such as years from graduation, how long ago the Steps were taken etc. So they might not outright reject you for age but they will find some excuse.

Thies is no age limit for applying to residency, but old graduate will be having less chances as they have gap after their graduation. But if they have high scores and strong hands-on clinical expeirence with LORs in US, have connections in US will be helpful for their chances of getting matched.

Agreed with mymatcg, get in 250s you will get in, or other option would be to go back to medical school- that DO school in NY

Ya just score 99 percentile. Just be the top 1% percentile of the entire global medical community that is taking the exam. No problem.

Pretty solid advice folks.
