Job Responsibilities
Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication.
Function as the primary contact at the site level working with providers and staff to ensure the understanding and correct completion of clinical documentation program.
Review clinical documentation concurrently with an emphasis on completeness and accuracy of provider documentation related to intensity of service required and severity of illness
Educate providers on proper documentation techniques and address specific provider questions and concerns regarding any CDI alerts or any information within an alert
Manage physician compliance and work with facility staff to develop a workflow for CDI disbursement and retrieval
Understand and abide by the laws and ethics of the medical community
Maintain a minimum 75% alert return rate
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)
Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
Location: Delaware, Pennsylvania, New jersey, NYC
Compensation Range
$60,000 to $70,000 plus benefits and bonuses
