You will not be able to convert J-1 to green card
You can try to find a job in shortage area after you done with residency and apply for a waiver. If you get a waiver, then you can convert your J-1 to H1-B and green card thereafter. It is better to avoid J-1 if possible.

ABRG - bhaskarajay

Hi I got my VISA rejected from U.K for C.S.A to be taken in July 03.

I have passed STE 1 ad STEP 2.
Can anyone let me know what should i do now, and is there any possibility of me to get a residency in 2004 if i take csa later on and what would be the worst timelimit within which i have to take CSA.
