WG is autoimmune necrotizing vasculitis with granulomas affecting small arteries and veins
involves nose,sinuses,lungs,kidneys. antibody is C-ANCA .C/F r bilateral pneumonitis with cavitary & nodular lesions;chronic sinusitis,nasopharyngeal ulceration,focal necrotizing glomerulonephritis & crescentic gn goodpastures syndrome is due to antibodies against the basement membrane (against the noncollagenous part of type 4 collagen) affects lungs & kidney c/f r pulmonary hemorrhage& recurrent hemoptysis,crescentic gn
