I am an IMG & GC holder who just got ECFMG certified though i did not apply for this years match. I have no USCE, no job experience whatsoever in US. I wanted to attend those observerships and Externships for which you have to pay like 3000-5000 dollars but for that i need a paying job first. I have applied for research jobs, Med Asst jobs (which need license BTW that i dont have), and Pharm Tech jobs but unfortunately no reply. I was searching for researchers/principle investigators in Dallas irving area hospitals but found nothing. There are presbyterian hospital, Southwestern medical center, Baylor irving nearby but i have no leads.Just have no clue whatelse to do as i need a job rightaway. I see so many people on this forum who have USCe, research experience but dont know how they find it. Maybe i just donot have contacts. Any ideas!
