Can someone explain please...
18yo F reports fatigability and weakness. No abnl on physical exam. Labs-Serum Na 141mEq/L K 2.1 Cl 85 HCO3 35
Urine- Na 80mEq/24h K 170
What is most likely diagnosis?
A. Aldosterone deficiency
B. anxiety with hyperventilation
c. diabetic KA
d. ingestion of anabolic steroids
e. surreptitious use of diuretics
Answer is E..i dont get why her serum Na is normal if shes using diuretics?
