someone plz advise-shud the anterior chest be xamined in sitting or lying down position?

If the case is NOT related to the cardiopulmonary system, then you just listen to heart and lungs in sitting position, as you will have to do the main system involved, so you won't have time to do both sitting and lying. But if the case is related to cardiopulmonary system e.g. chest pain, palpitations, SOB, then you do both sitting and lying as you will need to check for JVD lying down
