1.. Can I pay the HDFC appointment fees earlier.. since it is valid for 1 yr?

2.. I'm not sure what financial documents to be taken. For b1/b2 i remember taking a financial affidavit that my father is sponsering me(he signed a document which was notarized)...since residency is paid should i show this affidavit or just the net worth statement from chartered accountant is enough?

3..If they ask about future plans, is it sensible to tell them that i will try for fellowship? will it raise suspicion?

yes you can pay the HDFC fees now, no problem with that.

I don't think you need any financial documents, just take a copy of the offer letter which has your salary on it.

Future plans...? depends on you... say whatever you are comfortable with.
