bruise is found on posterior occiput, it can not be middle meningeal artery. could have been...if bruise is found on parital lobe. i will go with d.

(D) CORRECT. Falls in older persons, with some degree of cerebral atrophy can result in tearing of the bridging veins, which bare more exposed, and lead to development of a subdural hematoma. Such hematomas can develop over a variable length of time.
