I called yesterday to a program at the Southern Illinois University and they rejected me because I graduated more than 5 years ago. Do you know anything about this rule?, How it applies to others universities or if it applies to all the universities within illinois? Do you know where can I call to find out more about this information?.

this is arbitrary criteria this program applies;
different programs are free to establsih their criteria - regarding scores, number of years since graduation, usce, visa sponsorship - each program has their own - it is a good idea to inquire about them from each program before applying...
