If I don,t want to pay 60 dollars to ecfmg and decide to send my usmle transcript by myself to ERAS, is it okay to do so? Has anyone done that? Or is it advisable to opt for automatic transmission of transcript? Seniors, please guide.

It is advisable if you release USMLE transcript if you have cleared all the steps of USMLE... however, if you have a result pending, don't choose automatic transmission.. go for manual release..
In any case, it is $60 well spent... you can concentrate on more important stuff that way...
