Step 3 eligibility period extension time - amikho

Hi, my eligibility period of step 3 is expiring at the end of Oct and I have booked exam at the end of Oct. To be on the safe side if I want to extend my eligibility period,

1) how long they take to extend the eligibility period if I send everything today.

2) If I stick with my plan and my NBME score is ok and if I want to take the exam on Oct end, Can I do it with the date I have booked or I need to rebook using the new scheduling permit ?

Please help me ASAP.

you will use the same permit

NBME higher than 500, you are save, lower than that I don't know.
