and u have consoled him that u cant give any pain med befor understanding his problem
if he again says that plz this pain is killing me give me somthing like a pt of terminal cancer already taking pain med plz help

was it a real case scenario??i think u just cant give him pain meds without knowing abt the condition....perhaps u need to console him in a better way....mayb the sp is trying to assess ur level of patience...

Persist with ur empathy and explain that u can not reach a diagnosis if the pain is relieved.
tell him the hx and PE wil take only a few min and soon after u will ask the nurse to give u a pain med. thank him for his understanding. |
