Its allright!!
But the only issue I have is that those people who emailed you instantly within few minutes of your invitation blunder got their interview scheduled from you. It kind of became a first come first serve basis rather than on merit.

Anyways, I wish you best of luck in your intern selection process and hopefully everything goes well for your program.
