if pt indeed has apendicitis , he should show the 1st two tests positive atleast.

ideally both 3rd and 4th tests should be done. but if time was indeed short , i would skip the obturator test and write rectal examination. cause i think rectal examination will show tenderness if the pt has the appendix in the 'pelvic' position (i hope i am right abt this theory)

the psoas test will be important because the most common position of the appendix is retroceacal, right???
