I want to buy the usmle lecture notes (not the home study materials)the one given when we register for live lectures.It is available in ebay.I just want to know if we need to attend the live lecture to understand the books cos i heard it has disjointed sentences unlike the home study materials which are detailed.Pleazzz tell me which books are the best to buy the home study materials or the live lecture notes,to prepare at home.Thank u.

If I were you, I'd go for the home study materials. The lecture notes are accompanied by extra-information from the videos or live lectures, and by themselves are not enough.
