Question on Vision - brown911
#1
Can someone please explain what is meant by the term, "Navigational Vision"??

UW says that in Macular Degeneration navigational vision is preserved.

Then, in which disease(s) is navigational vision lost???

thanks

navigational means peripheral vision and its lost first in glaucoma with tunnelling of vision while in MD there is loss of central vision and sparing of the navigational or peripheral vision
