We are honored that you have applied to our program and are happy that you are choosing to pursue Internal Medicine as a specialty.
Our selection committee looks at multiple factors and since we have only 8 slots to fill in our PGY1 year, we must evaluate each of these very carefully. We look at academics, overall educational experience, level of interest in Internal Medicine, etc.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you an interview at this time. Since this is based on overall program fit, this does not mean that you are not a good candidate and another program may feel you would fit there just fine.
