do i have to do counseling about them in every case during history taking ,also cage questions little bit confused ,some say just ask while some say go thru details each time,,,,,,, anyone can help me

Hey buddy,
Look regarding smoking and alcohol you have to ask if he smoke or drink or not in all cases right? well, depending on the answer you wether proceed asking cage or counseling or not. I mean if he is smoker or alcoholic so counsel if he just drink occasionally, like a beer every week so don't counsel. That's it nice and easy

Ask CAGE questions in 1)binge drinking.Male 5 drinks or more on 1 occasion and females 4 or more.
2)Males > 2/day and females >1/day 3)upper gi bleeding 4)jaundice 5)RUQ pain 6)epigastric pain. |
