Hello everyone. I am new to the group. I recently finished med school and Im starting my preparation for the USMLE step 1 exam. I havent put a date yet since I want to get a solid first reading in before I think of a date.
I could really use any and all advice from veteran members in this group. This mamoth task ahead of me has been getting me very stressed of lately and I feel very depressed and lonely. My wife lives far away from me and I am help raising my daughter with my parents.
Im finding it difficult to get the ball rolling for my preparation. I dont know what to do. I just cant seem to get started because of all my daily distractions ...but to be honest its because of my procrastination. Sometimes I feel I am the only one going through this and every night before I sleep I cant but help worry about the future for my family. I struggled alot through med school and what takes many of you 1 or 2 readings to finish easily takes me 4.
Can someone PLS advise me....am i the only one who feels like a ant fighting an elephant?
