F. ... Hydralazine can be given in any hypertensive emrgencies ..including Preclampsia and eclampsia.

hey
according to harrison's 17th edition, it seems it's methyldopa (also labetalol, nifedipine)
there was no mention of hydralazine for chronic essential HTN

PEOPLE here the principle is that Methyldopa is highly protein baound and doesn't get into the fetus,,,, correct is methyldopa...
an obvious contraindication is ACEi, as it is teratogenic, others are also used, but are not the DOC!
