i am wondering how are we going to Greet Mother or Father of a Child.. who is not there... and how to ask his/her name... any light on opening scene... plz thanks

mother of David Smith, 5 year old boy, .........
So she should be Ms. Smith
How abt.. Ms. Smith I'm Dr ....., i'm the attending physician on duty today. How can I help you?
