Answer from PD, what does it mean? - bajan

Received following from a PD in response to my email:
"There is no cut off for anything as such. But we prefer candidates >80 score at first attempt and graduated within last 10 years. "

I graduated in 1992.
If this were you, would you spend money applying to this program? Did he/she just tell me that I have no chance without saying it directly?

I would't apply to this program if I did't meet their requirements.. sometimes if one has good scores that might help n it depends upon if one had been in touch with medicine during all these years. hope this helps..good luck

I passed both step 1 and cs on first attempt and scored over 80 on step 1. I haven't take 2ck as yet. I have been practiced from graduation until 2002, since coming to the US I have done 6 m0nths extenship in OB/Gyn and 6 months in IM.
I don't doubt my qualifications. What bothers me is the "within last 10 years. "
