Back into action!

Okay. attempt in any step is Bad. But thats not the end of "The US Dream." There are many ways one can compensate that:

1. Getting very good Step 2 scores (probably a 99), no CS attempt, and if giving step 3 make sure you get above 90 (there is actually no way one can do that Sad

2. Work hard on USCE, get it done at some university program and get excellent recommendations. Impress upon the attendings, and let them know that you had an attempt. So they will address that issue in their letters and convince the reader that this candidate is actually really good one!

3. If time permits and opportunities are available, get some research done...

4. Keep faith in God and persevere..
