HI FRENS ..

I Am APPLYING FOR 2012 MATCH BUT i am having problem regarding visa !!

actually , my wife got green card and i just applied for green card which will take some time about 7 months ..
my questions is ..is it ok to apply as green holder in ERAS for 2012 as i am sure to get green card till feb/march 2012 ..or it will considered as fault ???? or should i wait till i get green card and apply for 2013 ????
any suggestions will be appreciated .. thanks

I guess u shd apply in your present visa status and try your luck. There is always a chance that u might get in

they wont consider you a permanent resident based on presumptions of getting a green card for sure by feb/march. apply on whatever visa status u have and when u get accepted and its finally time to sign the contract, dont bother with the h1 or ecfmg-sponsored j1 IF u have ur visa by then.

If you are 100% sure of getting your green card, tell them you dont need a visa... you will get more interviews if you dont need a visa.. and you can explain your situation in your interview.. Take a calculated risk..
