Dean's letter/MSPE....plz help anyone.... - docan

I want to know how important is the Dean's letter fo an img, as I am finding it really difficult to obtain it fm my medical school...really confused and helpless.!!!!!
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated...Thanks in advance

"If you are unable to secure the MSPE from your medical school, you must indicate this on page 12 of the MyERAS application. A neutral placeholder letter will be provided in place of the MSPE. The placeholder letter will be provided to all of the programs to which you apply, and will state, “This document is provided in lieu of the applicant’s MSPE. Please contact the applicant with any questions you may have.” This will ensure that your application will appear as complete for those programs that require an MSPE before considering your application."

u can still apply even w/o MSPE

I got a Dean's letter stating that I completed MBBS from that Med school. However the letter is 9yrs old. Does it matter? I really don't care if they even want the original as I am wiling to send the same. Please anyone help!
