i got prematch there too...is it a good program? it seemed small.. what have you guys heard?? pls share as I have to make a decision asap...

It is not malignant at all...but yes it is a community program, and in all community programs in NY , you do have to work a more than other places. I have one of my friends there and have also interviewed there but yes I haven't been offered pre match yet.

what do you mean "more work than other places?" work like what exactly? doesn't the US have some sort of cap about the work thing?

p.s. when a residency is deemed malignant, could you enlighten me as to what exactly does that mean?

hey everyone. im not sure if im taking it . got the contract today...the pay seems a little less for new york..they didnt mention anything bout benfits. does anyone remember the call schedule or whether we can do outside electives?

what bout paying for professional expenses (books etc?) leave for conferences? on call meal allowance?
i dont remember too much from the chief's presentation
