Correct answer is "C"........Insulin Aspart

Aspart and Lispro both have rapid action........peak in 30-90 minutes.....best option for posprandial hyperglycemia

Regular insulin.....peaks in 2-3 hours......best for continuous IV (DKA)

Long-acting insulin:

NPH......12-18 hours

Glargine.....24 hours
