hello guys,,why programs does not interest in old grads? we are more mature,most of us have some kind of a masters degree, and obviously we have clinical and research experience.i have better credentials than a friend I know who is a fresh grad and she also have an attempt in cs, she's got double the interviews than me. no offence to anybody

i am also old grad..but i feel the reason is they dont want any ego clashes when the more experienced ones start "teaching " the attendings and the other staff.. thats jus my opinion..

Perhaps because
1) The proverbial tough to teach old dogs new tricks
2) Old grads may be already highly trained/experienced from their home-countries.

Im also old grad. Do you think if we already had residency and specialty in our countries we can apply just for fellowship ,if somebody knows ,please drop me a line sesy12313
